Festival's schedule: Saturday and Sunday, September 2 and 3, 2 PM to 7 PM

For the 3rd year, Les Escales Improbables will take over the spaces of Montreal’s Old Port in order to offer, over the course of 3 days, a trip without constraints or borders amongst the arts. A cruise through another space-time continuum which symbolizes an other rapport to art, a different way to broach and to live it: founded on deambulation, meeting and exchange. Be they from Quebec, France or Morrocco, the creators which will be present – sculptors and film makers, actors and performers, musicians and writers – invite you to discover with them elaborate artistic propositions with respect to the space, and of which schedules are kept secret. From musical siestas to interactive performances, from impromptu concerts to philosophical conversations, Les Escales Improbables propose to all publics to let themselves go, for a time frame of a few hours, to the joys of exploration and surprise. For art is also the best way to learn how to do nothing – or more aptly, to relearn how to do nothing but see, hear, feel and vibrate, in unisson, in the places where dreams and memory meet.
