OMEN

As far as my style of portraiture it is merely securing ourselves to this earth for now and the future until we are consumed by the sun’s flare to show us who we are through the eyes of those who choose this path through the artists medium of choice. We are alive and that is all it is. It is us. We have a way of seeing. I see with my eyes and speak with my hands, my language is aerosol and oils. I try to describe my world around me and how it’s affecting me. I hope that this tiny slice of society and life can be stilled long enough to impart some impression. The portrait makes that impression more impressionable rather than the vision of some landscape. It connects the viewer in the basest of levels. We are vitruvian men. We are all La Giocondas.
