A landscape to discover, a territory to explore
«La Friche au Pied-du-Courant is acquiring an identity and the Collectif Les Fricheuses is helping to promote it.
In 2019, after two years of occupation, we are dreaming of a vast mobilization to create a Riverfront Walk that would extend from the area of Pied-du-Courant to the Old Port. This is the opinion that the Collectif Les Fricheuses and the Pépinière submitted to the OCPM (The Office de consultation publique de Montréal) hearing tor the PPU (Special Planning Program) from the Faubourgs in april 2019.
La Friche au Pied-du-Courant is a citizen territory where Heritage, Art et Biodiversity complement each other. With a group of young researchers in bio-remediation, we dream of creating on the Friche a decontamination-by-the-living laboratory. "
