Tout près du souffle are two new performances where dancers and the human voice echo a relationship playing with contrasts and similarities. A visual, auditory and sensory experience that will give you chills, tickle your senses and make your skin tingle.
From pierres brûlantes, created in 2016 as part of Les Escales Improbables de Montréal, choreographer Louise Bédard first experienced the intersection between dance and singing. Now in 2019, the choreographer continues and extends this experience with a program of two duets, pierres brûlantes and Les Mains froissées, accompanied by le Chœur du Brouhaha and le Chœur du Plateau..
Tout près du souffle intensifies the way we see music and hear movement. A unique experience where contemporary dance and choral singing share a tacit complicity in a particular, urban environment.
